CC 1883:76 "on a attribué à Richard, avec assez peu de vraisemblance, à mon avis, une pièce, ou du moins la moitié d'une pièce provençale" [sirventes avec le jongleur Blondel de Néele { PC 420,1}; né à Oxford (mère Alienor d'Aquitaine); Lacurne 1774: 59n "voici le texte provencal de cette premiere stance: Ja nus hom pris non dira sa raison"; Spetia 1996 refers to Chasteuil-Gallaup 1624 (??1724), who may have tinkered with an OFr poem of Richard’s to make it more "provençal"; PT Ricketts/COM disallows Richard as a troubadour, citing Lucilla Spetia "Riccardo Cuor di Leone tra oc e oil (BdT 4202,2)" CN 56 (1996):101-155; Lavaud 1978:32 Richard trouva la mort devant Chalus, en Limousin (1199); GRLMA VI.2 E #5332 2 sirv {1} été 1194, {2} sirv-rotrouange, t post 1192-12-21, jour de son arrêt en Autriche; DOM Supl1 Richard Coeur-de-Lion 1193..1196 [PilletC et Frank 420]; BEdT 1999/07/27 generazione 3= 1170-1210; BS 106n12 Richard partit pour la 3e croisade en sept 1190, et il est de retour de Terre Sainte en 1194;
