Plausibly daughter of Guglielmo di Signes-Solliés, with 3 brothers and 1 sister all documented. ca. 1241, G. intrecciò con Lanfranc Cigala* il dibattito Na Guillelma, maint cavalier aratge (BdT 282.14 = 200.1); in Liguria 1246-48, an anonymous poet praised G., confirming the importance of her role in developing trobar in Liguria;
