ARTFL/Taylor 1977 1230-1266 Salverda de Grave Toulouse 1902 [p154, p165: in docs 1193-1262]; CC Biogr 340 "Bastero, Raynouard, et les auteurs de l'Histoire littéraire, induits en erreur par Jean de Nostredame, ont fait à tort de ce troubadour deux personnages différents"; vida says he was the son of En Pons de Brugerias (in docs 1193-1209), par contre Bertran est nommé dans des actes politiques importants de 1235-1260 environ (B-S 64:517)--il apparaît plusieurs fois comme témoin à côté de Sordel; cf.
