Nostradamus counts this name as a "Provençal poet" and this is confirmed, acc CC, by a Latin-language note from Suarez, bishop of Avignon(1633-1666) speaking of "... versus Rascasii..." (note publ. by AThomas FdaBarberino p106); CC connects this mention of a poet "Rascas" with the name of Bernart Rascas; Hoepffner, Ro 54 (1928):120 dixit "Reimonz Rascas, le Bernart de Rascas de Nostredamus";
